Rita Rudaini Kahwin Aidil Zafuan Part II

Friday, 19th December, 1148

RITA Rudaini, 32 (32? (haha, walaupun dah cakap tak nak tulis, could not resist sambung berita nih, sorry)

(you think?)

(perkataan tempatan yang tak bleh tahan tu,dialog mesti lebih kurang camnih "Erm,(letak nama kawan) I betul-betul nak tahu perkembangan mengenai sukan bola sepak TEMPATAN, boleh tak you hook me up dengan someone? Make sure dia separuh umur I, hensem, dan baru nak naik coz I bleh sponsor dinner etc, TEMPATAN tau, jangan you call Beckham plak, tak kuasa I nak gaduh ngan Vic nanti, I dengan dia kan bff'")

Zaquan Adha (The smarter one)

Dialog masatu mesti macam nih. "Erm, (letak nama kawan) I nak tahu perkembangan sukan tempatan kerana ia ada kena mengena dengan kerjaya I, boleh tak you hook me up with some pembaca berita sukan, pastikan lelaki yer, make sure tempatan tau I tak nak you panggil nanti susah nak dapat visa bla,bla bla")

(Hmm dialog pas ni, "Erm,(letak nama kawan) I nak tahu perkembangan sukan bolasepak tempatan, bleh tak you hook me up dengan mana-mana coach, tapi jangan panggil Sathianathan plak, dahla tak tahu susun strategi, nak keluar list senarai pemain kebangsaan pun macam cabut undi jerk, tu belum lagi citer pasal formation, tactics bla bla bla, lembu betol dia tu.. camne plak boleh sambung kontrak.. main mandrem kot?? ingat I artis je ader mandrem-mandrem. U cari yang lain ok.. " hahahaha)

"Maaf, saya enggan komen.

Rita Rudaini Kahwin Senyap Aidil Zafuan

Wednesday, 17th December, 2255

Ni Genting bukan Songkhla.. Harap maklum..

Stop dulu kat sini..

Aku sebenar-benarnya nak tulis pasal benda lain yang lagi menarix, macam maksaklah kat Bukit Antarabangsa ke, banjir kat Kelantan ke... tapi disebabkan kawan-kawan aku yang kat sini and Kapit sibuk dok tanya aku pasal berita nih.. so aku pun meng'google'lah dan jumpa lah pasal isu ini.

Sapa tak kenal dua beradik kembar nih. nak kata prodigy tu tak la tetapi disebabkan pakej bakat, kehenseman dan julung-julung kali ada pemain kembar dalam satu-satu sukan (dulu ada gak tapi tak popular sebab pakej tak cukup kot? haha)Aidil Zafuan and Zaquan Adha. So sebenarnya Aidil Zafuan ni dah pun Kahwin di Songkhla bulan Feb haritu. Patutla main (bola) pun cam takder stamina coz ader benda lain yang mengurangkan staminanya hahaha (18 sx nih).  Tapi kesian coz mak bapak dia pun tak tahu menahu pasal benda nih

Bapa Aidil Zafuan sendiri, Abdul Radzak Salleh, 59, berkata, Aidil Zafuan mengesahkan berita tersebut melalui anak sulungnya, Ruzithana Razak Abdul Radzak, 37, dua hari lepas.

Separuh jer aku letak nak penuh pi kat web nike Malaysia

Dahla giant advertisement  poster separa bogel dorang dengan nike baru je ditampal kat serata Malaysia. Aku rasa pompuan yang nampak poster tu leh histeria kot.. maklomla jersy didalam kulit diluar.. (napa tak buat short dia skali hua hua hua)

"Isk, aku nak kawin gak nih"- zaquan adha

a)Rita dah pr3gnant, takot orang persoal sapa bapak anak dia nanti

b)Aidil dah rimas

c)Rita nak wat publisiti memandangkan nama dia dah senyap jerk skang

d)Aidil nak masok bidang seni plak memandangkan pasukan Malaysia main bola cam *&^^$&( geram betol aku..  apa ader dalam pala otak sathia tu agaknyer. and sapa la yang bodoh sambung kontrak dia lagi.. Lembu betol!! (eh sidetrack plak)

e) (letakla sebab korang tersendirik)

Disclaimer: Aku tak minat Rita pun, cuma aku suka tengok kembar tu main bola disebabkan aku pun coach handball ("tapi dia main football... apa nih?" kata seseorang)

Sesambil tu.. seronok-seronok kan lah diri anda buat undian kat sebelah kanan blog tu ek...

Pikom PC Fair (revisited)

Sunday, 14th December, 2131

Guess who had followed my tips?

ME!!

Today is the last day of the Pikom PC Fair 2008. Lotsa people and frantic last minutes buying.

Pikom PC Fair 2008

Saturday, 13th Dec 2009, 0227

PIKOM PC FAIR 2008. MALAYSIA'S LARGEST PC FAIR. 12 LOCATIONS

What a day..
The Pikom PC Fair is indeed Malaysia's largest PC Fair, and I think this time they really have put a lotsa effort tro make it a successfull one.

The floor layout and booth placement are a lot more organised this time arond compared to past year fair.

Instead of renting one exhibition hall, PIKOM has rented conference hall 1, 2 and 3 and also Exhibition hall 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5!! (talk about huge!!)

And the best part is the Banquet Hall at level 3 is open just for speaker and audio system. By going in there you might feel like entering a huge disco club. Lotsa candy coloured-nice-saliva-drooling salesgirl audio system that will suit your fancy.. Oh yeah.. The banquet hall is like audio haven (it isn't a typo) to me.

Yeah, the price is really cheap/affordable too.

Here is the list of best bargain (for me atleast)

  • Seagate 2.5" external HDD Western Digital comes with casing+pouch+cable 250GB (RM 199)   ~the 35oGb cost RM229

  • FM Modulator (RM18)  ~it is a little thingy u plug-in the car cigarrete burner to play your song in ur thumdrive-lah

  • a nice laptop skin (VIKII) (RM18) comes with nice packaging  (not the VEGE brand.. too EXPENSIVE) that can double as a clear A4 paper file and also comes with free LCD cleaner (worth RM8 stand-alone)

  • EACAN (ikan??) QQ-Q 2.1 long-throw woofer with EXquisite design satellite speaker (banquet hall) and comes in ol sorts of colours you could imagine (RM 79) ~the RRP is RM99, but there are lotsa other model to suit your fancy. ~Drool~

  • Kingston Thumbdrive DT101 2G (RM16) 4g (RM25) 8G (RM48) 6mb/s (read) and 2mb/s (write)  Ops!

  • PNY Ultra Slim Micro Att 2G(RM19) 4G(RM29) 8G(RM52) is better because not only it is smaller, antishock, antidust and water resistant but also it has the capacity of 23mb/s(read) and 7mb/s (write). Simple put.. it will  save/copy/transfer your work faster.
So a little tips for this coming christmas @ birthday @ awal muharram @ new year @ CNY:-

Step 1: buy a 2G thumdrive (rm19)

Step 2: buy an FM Modulator for his/her car (RM18)

Step 3: search and upload all his/her favorite songs to the driver (rm 3 x hours spent in CC)

step 4: plug it to the car cigarrete burner (turn on and adjust the radio frequency first)

Step 5: a kiss from the receiver for the very thoughtful gift (priceless........)

Oh ya, it will be handy if you can grab yourself a 'show guide' booklet distributed (or rather left unsupervised) at the main entrance to the exhibition hall. you can highlite or mark the booth where you make a purchase so that in case you need to return it or add other accessories, you can simply locate the booth or find out the name of the Company (it is in the booklet) and googled their locations later.

Cheerios.....

The Pikom PC Fair 2008

Friday, 12th December 2008, 0950

Today is the first day of 3 days event of largest Gadgets and PC "thingies" Pikom PC Fair 2008.  Lotsa stuff are at a bargain price and I am all set to go.  Will be posting the details later.

Cheerios.

The Neighbor

Saturday, November 29th, 1530

I am becoming fat!
I know this personal information is non of your bussiness, but since my neighbor think that it is hers, why not telling it to the whole world.

"Hey! Haven't since you for ages. Back for holiday?"

"Yeah"

"How long? Boy! you must be really happy there."

"Uh?" (note to self: move to other unfriendly neighborhood)

"I mean, you look FAT. Must be really happy."

"Guess I am."

(Instructions: Open jar, find wound, rub salt)

"Ok. Nice to see you, sorry to disturb your badminton match, hope it works, you really need the exercise."

"*&^(*(&%"

P/S: I am 73kg by the way.

The Questions

Friday, November 28th, 1932

There are a lot of nothingness to do and places to visit with the free time.

It has been 3 weeks and there are plenty of weeks to go (I don’t really count them, make me anxious). Working in a such isolated place without good entertainment and quality fast-food (can’t believed those two words are connected) makes ones eager to go back to the concrete jungle i.e. KL.

Here, one thing for sure school breaks also synonym with weddings. Yup the dreaded weddings especially if the reception is for your best friend or worse, relatives, the worst? NOSEY relatives.  Then there's the golden question of The Partner.

You see, I am the straight to the point person.

I prefer the no beating around the bush approach.

Most people would go be uneasy and get embarrassed and the standard answer would be
"Nope lah, don't have yet."

A relative (very distant mind you) had asked in a teasing manner,
"So, Eff, got partner already? You are 27 now right?"

I would deadpan,
"Yup and yup."

She  then asked this in an extra teasing manner,
"When is your turn?"

"33 years old (I just blurt out any random two digits number)."
Straight to the point, that's my style.

Then she started to take me a little more seriously,
"Oh I see, I see. Six years more (emphasizing the word) ONLY,"

"Yup, A lot of time to build up that nest,”
 I added.

And there you have it, problem solved.

No more annoying girlfriend questions with a non-hesitant manner of answering.

But, the game wasn’t over yet,

"So when can we meet her?"

I have not mastered that as I have yet to warm up to the idea of relatives and girlfriend, being in one place, at the same time.

Many I-look-at-you-you-look-at-me moments of silence.

Too awkward for my liking.

Some of the more fun loving friends (and relatives!!) have even gone so far as to ask,

"So, done it already?"

"I'm not sure if that one counted" (ahahaha)
and then trail off mysteriously (before I change my mind and
strangled her)

I really wanted to ask them the same question

“So, when is your turn?"

……….. during a funeral

Cruel... Cherios.

The Exhibition

Saturday, November 22nd, 2349

Today sucks!! Big time!

First of all, I was really looking forward for today because there are two 'awesome' exhibitions going on at the same place, but both  sucks big time.

Malaysia 5th International Health Fair, Putra world Trade Centre (PWTC). hall 5

This is the 1st exhibition that I went, I was hoping there would be health related gadget on sale (heart rate monitor watch, exercise equipment, etc). I didn't bother to take any pic because the exhibition sucks! (Hey waddaya know, I could start word-of-the-day segment). I mean there is actually nothing to see or buy or listen to.  No wonder there is hardly any info regarding the exhibition on the cyberspace.  And to rub salt on the wound, the flyers are in chinese, the exhibitors are talking in chinese and the magazines sold there are in chinese!! Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problem with my fellow chinese counterpart but this is Malaysia for godsake and the exhibition is open for public. Is it too hard to print the flyers in multi language? If it is so hard to make in in Malay (it IS still the National Language though) make it in English then. Urgh! While browsing inside, there is nothing to see actually because the products sold were like the one you can find in a sinseh shop (wonder if they have an approval sticker from our local MOE)I see and hear a lot of visitors venting their anger outside the hall. They too were frustrated because they were not being entertain by anybody inside the exhibition hall. Maybe just like me, the exhibitionist simply carry on talking in his/her own language although the crowd that has gather around is made out of different races. Talk about INsensitivity (except maybe for a few booths promoting credit cards that really stuck out like a sore thumb in there). Conclusion, sucks!! Big time.

Gomobile Expo 2008, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Hall 3

This exhibition promised to be one of the largest mobile phone exhibition ever in Malaysia and I think it is true, a lot of well-known brands such as Nokia, Sony E, Maxis took part and a lot of products and services were being promoted and it also has a party like environment. So why is it sucks you might asked? It is because, Just after two eenie-weenie-tinie-weenie steps I made into the exhibition hall, the siren went off, and the 2nd person behind me got away with a state of the art Nokia handphone just because she is the 150th visitors to enter the hall. Ugh, if only. Hmmm.... Ruin my mood for the rest of the day. Conclusion? SUCKS!!

Malaysian Driver

Monday, November 17, 2310

It has only been 5 days since I start to drive in the busy KL road again but lotsa things had happened to remind me how good it was to drive in a not so busy road in Kapit (gosh I miss my Myvi a lot). I think I made less swearing back there compared to 5 days driving here. Most of my vulgar ‘bad words’ nowadays are in Iban language so it is ok if I get some sensitive person (read: mum and sis) riding shotgun. Hehe. Read down there and find out whether you are guilty too.

·         Happily cruising down the middle lane of a motorway with either indicator flashing, but going nowhere.

·         Happily cruising down the middle lane of a motorway even when the road is almost entirely empty.

·         Picking your nose and believing that no-one can see you. (it is tinted)

·         Not realizing that there is any other setting for your lights than high beam.

·         Indicating to move into a lane that you're already half way in.

·         Falling asleep at the wheel, just in time for the lights to turn green.

·         Sounding your horn one nanosecond after the lights change to green if the car in front hasn't sped off.

·         Sending sprays of wiper wash right over the top of your car and washing the one behind.

·         Overtaking then pulling in front and slowing down. (I do it sometimes just for a revenge.. ehehe)

·         Sharing whatever is on your car stereo with anyone within a mile radius. (guilty)

Hmm.. Actually it says quite a lot about me.. ehehe.. cheerios

Top 10 Ways To Handle Stress

Saturday, November 15, 1355

Ok ok I need to make a confession, this is supposed to be a funny (or maybe stupid) post, but since this not-so-often-visited-blog always getting visitor to this particular post, I think I should do something about it.

I know people who google-d "top 10 ways how to handle stress" were being directed here so I'm posting something that can be useful for them (you) so they (you) wouldn't jump from a cliff or something.... so here they are... Owh but first, if the stress you are having is work-related, look at this pic first.

Feeling a lil' better?

To all readers who are unhappy with what you are doing for a living now..... cheer up.. someone somewhere is doing worst.

Ok. Now the real part:

When You're Stressed

Eat This
1 Cup of Low-fat Yogurt or 2 Tbsp of Mixed Nuts
Scientists in Slovakia gave people 3 grams each of two amino acids—lysine and arginine—or a placebo and asked them to deliver a speech. Blood measurements of stress hormones revealed that the amino acid–fortified guys were half as anxious during and after the speech as those who took the placebo. Yogurt is one of the best food sources of lysine; nuts pack tons of arginine.

Not That
Can of Soda
A study from the American Journal of Public Health found that people who drink 21?2 cans of soda daily are three times more likely to be depressed and anxious, compared with those who drink fewer.

Modern life is a big, boiling cauldron of anxiety stew, and we get a heaping helping every day. Whether you're talking to your boss about a promotion, talking to your spouse about the credit card bills, or talking to your kids about a streak of bad behavior, there's always a stress-soaked moment around the corner. So calm yourself quick with these natural nerve-settlers.

Ok now back to the original post. thanks for visiting!!
(edited on Sunday, 13th Sept 09)

I've got this from my e-mail, just wanna share it with you guys...

2. Use your MasterCard to pay your Visa. (I thought this could really be done)

3. Pop some popcorn without putting the lid on.

4. When someone says, “Have a nice day,” say you have other plans. (very cruel indeed)

5. Find out what a frog in a blender really looks like. (tribute to my biology teacher.. Cikgu Noraini)

6. Forget the gym and get yourself a chocolate ice cream cake.

7. Make a list of things to do that you’ve already done. (surely it will be a short one.. sigh!)

8. Dance naked in front of your pets. (what if the pet is in an aquarium out in the front porch??)

9. Put your toddler’s/nephrew's/niece's clothes on backwards and send him off to preschool as if nothing were wrong.

10.Fill out your tax forms with Roman Numerals.

T

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Tuesday, November 11, 2135

If this is the second time you are reading this post, you might realized that the text has been changed. The 'history book' feeling is now gone.

After some advice from a friend, I am writing about Kuala Lumpur as I see it, the bland fact can still be found at wikipedia though. So here it goes.

Went to KL (Kuala Lumpur) this evening, managed to snap a few photo and something to write in my blog. Places that I went to were Jalan Masjid India a.k.a India St. at Masjid Jamek, Bangunan Sultan Abd. Samad, Pasar Seni and Petaling St

Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad

How to get there?

This building is facing the Merdeka Square, just a walking distance from Pasar Seni (Central Market) You can also take the PUTRA LRT and disembark at PASAR SENI or MASJID JAMEK station.

What it has to offer?

The building has long been a landmark for Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur. Its predominantly Moorish appearance suitably reflects the cultural background of Malaysia. Located beside the Dataran Merdeka., it is a hot spot to hang out especially on weekends.. the building design is simply unique and brightly lit with colourful lights at night.

Why I was there?

Well like I said, it is situated in between Masjid Jamek (where India St is located) and Pasar Seni, so in order to go to Pasar Seni (from Indian St.) I have to walk pass by it to get there.. Duh!

Interesting fact.

In 1971, Kuala Lumpur suffered a huge flood after a heavy rainfall. Part of the building was not spared. In 1978, a massive renovation was undertaken. The renovation took six years to complete with a total cost of RM 17.2 million.

If you want the wikipedia version, click here.

Pasar Seni @ Pasar Budaya @ Central Market (CM)

How to get there?

Disembark at PASAR SENI station (gosh, can it be more clearer than this?) or walk from MASJID JAMEK LRT station.

What it has to offer?

The pasar @ market houses varieties of souvenirs and knick knacks from all over the worlds, it is a hot spot for tourist to find souvenirs to take back home. The price here is quite high though. My advice, shop around, be friendly and asked for a 'lil discount.

Some of the souvenirs available

Why I was there?

I have fond memory of this place; this is the place where I get supply of crazy and unique necklaces, dog tags and bangles during my University year (dare to be diff, one might say), but today I went to Pasar Seni to buy some Camior chocolates for my nieces and nephews.

The interior layout

Interesting Fact.

The walking mall parallel to the main building (facing the shop lots) is noted for housing street musicians or buskers. One of them which has been accepted into last season Akademi Nasyid (Islamic-oriented song reality search). Which one you might asked? Just come to Pasar Seni and find out for yourself.

If you want the wikipedia version, click here.

Jalan Petaling @ Petaling St.

How to get there?

Just like the rest of the places mentioned before, I walked.

What it has to offer?

Jalan Petaling a.k.a Petaling St. is a Malaysia Chinatown. Malaysian Chinese call it Chi-Cheong-Kai in Cantonese. It is infamous for pirated clothes and accessories along with bootleg DVDs and CDs. Here you must maintain a poker face because the DVD traders aren’t ashamed to approach you with the latest UNcensored XxX movie. My advice? Just a firm no or shook your head (like you really mean it guys) and they will leave you alone. Walk a few steps more and you will be approach again by a different person. Petaling Street however does not exclusively offer pirated products. The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as Hokkien mee, ikan bakar (barbecued fish), asam laksa and curry noodles. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders

Why I was there?

Cheap Adidas shoes, authentic looking watches, belts, x-rated CD, Superman Shirts and the list goes on.

Fantastic Fact.

Haggling or bargaining is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists.

If you want more fact, click here.

Ok. Time to go back, my feet were aching for walking all day long. Tomorrow I am going to Genting Highlands with Mom, so most probably, no updates for the whole three days.

Ohya, feel free to use any of the photos here provided you guys mentioned this blog. The pics are courtesy of my faithful 2-year old Sony Ericsson K800i. Cheerios..

Sarawak Athletes Meet

Monday, November 10, 1633
U13 getting ready for 100m hurdles

The Sarawak Athletes Meet was held in Sarikei from 4th - 6th Nov 2008. The athletes are from the U13, U11 and U10 categories. Meaning? The team and I was handling mostly junior or primary school children. The training was tough (on me) because this is the first time I am involved with lower age group. The training and drill has to be mould with small children in mind (as if i know what that means). For the first few days, I was really at loss of what to do. Surely they do not respond well to drill and all the technical stuff that I used to implement on higher age group.

The 4x200 girls (minus 1)

Much to my amusement, when asked about their event, rather than getting the usual response such as long jump, 4x100 or hurdles, I got melompat (jumping), lari (running) or baling (throwing). Training them is really a challenge for me.
Timeout @ the pool

As a result, I just let them do whatever they usually do (mind you that they were handpicked by me and the rest based on their performance during divisional meet last February, meaning that they already have some experience), correcting them on the spot and just letting them have fun.
Ready to make their longest jump

2 weeks with them making me realized that sport is all about fun and laughter, seeing from the eyes of the future generation. Oh ya, we managed to get 3 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals. Not much compared to other division that is really an athletes powerhouse such as Sibu and Miri. But for me, I got a bunch of new children and a precious gift called experience.

happy faces

Delayed Telecast

Saturday, November 8, 1601

Ok, so I have to apologize for not writing sooner. I know I get on everyone else nerves for not keeping up with their blogs, but I have no room to talk, now do I? I have been pretty busy these past few weeks. Busy with the usual stuff and also I am involved with the Athletics Meet in Sarikei. Appointed as the head coach for Kapit division, I have to make sure that the athletes are training smart two session daily and will have their fighting spirit up. Lotsa new pics and story to be told. Watch this space.. Oh ya, I am back in KL since this morning.
